Hosting (Vercel)

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. When you access the website, Vercel processes technical connection data including IP address, date and time of the request, browser type, operating system, referrer and volume of data transferred. This is necessary to deliver the website securely and reliably.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Vercel pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Personal data may be transferred to the USA; Vercel is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and EU Standard Contractual Clauses also apply.

Web analytics (Umami)

We use Umami, a cookie-free open-source analytics tool, for anonymous reach measurement. Our Umami instance runs on Railway. Only anonymous, non-combinable events are processed: visited page, referrer, approximate location, language setting, screen type, browser, operating system and timestamp.

IP addresses are not stored. No tracking cookies are set and visitors are not tracked across websites or days. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; consent under Sec. 25(1) TDDDG is not required.

Processors & third-country transfers

We use Vercel Inc. for website hosting and Railway Corp. for hosting our Umami instance as processors pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Both providers are based in the USA. Transfers are based on EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where certified, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Cookies & local storage

This website does not set tracking cookies and does not store your language choice in the browser. The selected language is only part of the URL you visit (/de or /en).
